Seasonal means and decade differences are arithmetic on published observations.

ATLAS does not project climate. Met Éireann's TRANSLATE programme produces Ireland's standardised national climate projections and is the authoritative source. A trend fitted to station data here would look like a projection without being one, so none is offered. Everything on this page is something that was measured.

A station's record can be affected by relocation, instrument change and its surroundings. ATLAS does not homogenise for those.
